Oh god this dress! I bought it when I couldn't afford not much in life and then starved for awhile after. Perhaps that was why I fit into it. Anyway, this dress was all I had and I was always looking for opportunities to wear it. But I didn't really get invited to fancy parties back then and I don't go clubbing so the occasions were few. And then I grew old and grew out of it. Sigh.

Figuring out colour schemes has never been my strong point (couldn't even come up with something to contrast the pink in this blog. What goes with pink anyway?!). The dress fits perfectly but I just didn't have anything to go with it from my meagre collection. Shoes, earrings, bag...nothing worked. And from then on it's just...well languished.

I thought I was going through a boho phase and impulsively bought this skirt only to realize that the 'phase' lasted a day. Shame on fickle ways, I know. Add to that, KOOVs had just started their amazing website and I thought I'd show them some love (you've got to help start-ups right? *major hint*). 

A friend of mine also bought this wonderful skirt (she bought it first and I followed her like a loyal pup) and she wears it smartly with a leather jacket and looks absolutely stunning.
